Welcome

God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! The Bible says that “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The “whoever” can be absolutely anyone, including you. God wants to bless you today. There is another wonderful Bible promise that says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” At Stechford Baptist Church, we cherish and share the truth of God’s love.

Who We Are

We are an all-ages, all-nations kind of congregation united by God’s love for us. We are Christians, that is, followers of Jesus Christ the Son of God. We believe that through Jesus we receive forgiveness of sins. Through Him we find peace, hope, and real purpose in life. We are imperfect and broken, but the Lord is patient and fixing us a little more each day.

When we gather to worship, we praise God through lively, joyful Christian music. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and that it tells us what we should believe and how we should live our lives. So we make much of the Bible in our services, whether through sermons, lessons, readings, or interactive Bible studies.

We want to be known for sharing the Good News of salvation in Christ. We want to be known as people who are good neighbours. We want to do our part to make Stechford a better place to live.
